Land Rover InControl® is an advanced suite of services that lets you enjoy a seamless connection between your phone and vehicle, whether you’re inside or near it. Most Android™ and Apple iOS® devices are compatible with Land Rover InControl® Apps™, so you should be ready to enjoy this feature as soon as you own a new Land Rover model. How Do I Get Started with Land Rover InControl® Apps™?

To Install Land Rover InControl® Apps™ On Your Phone:

1. Search for Land Rover InControl® Apps™ in the Apple App Store or Google Play, relative to what type of smartphone you use.
2. Select and install the app.
3. Look for the Land Rover InControl® Apps™ icon on your phone screen and open the app.
4. Once opened, the app will prompt you to follow the Auto Quick Start Guide to complete the set-up process.

To Connect Your Phone to Your Vehicle via InControl® Apps™:

1. From inside your Land Rover, pair your phone with your vehicle’s Bluetooth to get connected for phone calls and audio streaming.
2. Make sure your device is unlocked before proceeding.
3. Using the USB cord that came with your smartphone, connect your phone to the dedicated InControl Apps USB port in your vehicle.
4. If you’re using an iPhone and InControl Apps isn’t already open, open the app when prompted. If you’re using an Android, select “Always Allow” when prompted to forego all future prompts.
5. With your phone still unlocked, tap the icon for InControl Apps on your vehicle’s touch display.
6. Press View if you want to use apps with no audio. Press View and Listen if you wish to use apps with audio.

To Start Using 3rd Party Apps:

When you first connect to Land Rover InControl® Apps™, there’ll be a set-up process for each 3rd party app. Until each app’s set-up process is complete, the app icons will be grayed out with a key symbol. To set up any 3rd party app for the first time:

1. Select the grayed out app you want to set up.
2. Read the instructions thoroughly, then press Start when you’re ready to start.
3. A pop-up approval should appear on your mobile device — click it to approve.
4. On your vehicle’s touch display, press the home button.
5. On your mobile device, approve the second pop-up that appears.
6. Repeat for all 3rd party apps to unlock them on your Land Rover touchscreen.

What is the Land Rover InControl® Remote™ App?
