Previously, if a car buyer was considering a custom order purchase, it usually meant that it was a rare car or they were looking for something specific. Either way, the car buyers were happy to pay for the right of getting something special, despite knowing that it would take time to finish the order. The allure of buying a unique car canceled out the extended wait time rather than just getting a new car from the local inventory. These days the landscape has changed dramatically. No longer are there rows of new vehicles to choose from, so when you desire something unique, then custom ordering from the factory is now your best option. If you need a vehicle immediately, getting it from the vehicles available on the lot now is still your best choice.
The enjoyable part of custom ordering your new vehicle is that you are able to choose the exact upgrades you want. You can choose leather seating, NAV, and AWD, and it can even be your favorite color: silver! When buying a car that’s in stock, you might have needed to compromise on your wishlist depending on vehicles that were in stock. You might be able to get all of the upgrades you wanted, but it was in the wrong color. Or you could get the right color, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order your next new car, you get what you want.
Conversely, when you custom order your brand-new vehicle from the manufacturer, you don’t have to compromise with the upgrade you don’t want. Perhaps you were looking for NAV and All-Wheel Drive but didn’t care about the vehicle color or leather seating. While you might not be able to choose every option by itself, yet by ordering your new car, you can reduce the pricey options. We do suggest that you check out any available option packages, as they tend to have the most popular upgrades together at a discounted price.
